Patricia does not have an art college background but has always enjoyed creative activities. She discovered a freedom to express movement after attending a weekend course entitled ‘The lost Wax Method of Casting Bronze,’ using the strength of bronze.
She has been acknowledged by the Hilliard Society of Miniaturists for showing a consistently high standard of work and was highly commended for work submitted to the Royal Society of Miniature Painters, Sculptors and Gravers exhibition.
Patricia has since attended a year’s fulltime course at the Frink School of Figurative Sculpture, after which she has completed several commissions. She has more recently been enjoying woodcarving and different methods of printing.
Her work can be found in galleries around the country and has been exhibited abroad.
