Art in Penallt returns next year, 2025.

We have decided to devote this year to planning for Art in Penallt 2025, and look forward to seeing you then.

Below you will find details of last year’s event

Art in Penallt 2023 Friday 18th - Sunday 20th August 10am - 4pm.

Entrance fee £5. Under 16s free.

Early Bird price £4 (plus booking fee).

You can book online ahead of the event, or pay on the day.


Exhibition

In the Long Barn at Humble by Nature, with an additional exhibition by Hereford College of Art Graduates in the Greenhouse.

Friday 18th August 10am - 4pm

Saturday 19th August 10am - 4pm

Sunday 20th August 10am - 4pm

The exhibition continues throughout the weekend, showcasing artists and makers from the area and beyond. This includes an outdoor sculpture area.


Artist Demonstrations, auctions & Raffle

In the Greenhouse at Humble by Nature
Friday 18th, Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th

A number of demonstrations, including the auction of some of the artwork, will take place over the whole weekend, morning and afternoon.

We have a very exciting raffle this year with 2 chances to win a Becksy (Rebecca Mickleburgh) original artwork. They will generate funds for the local charities we support, whilst also raising awareness for The Aortic Dissection Charitable Trust.

2 art workshops will take place at Pelham Hall, Penallt, Monmouth, NP25 4AH on Saturday, 19th August Alex Brown - Landscape in Oils and Sunday 20th August 2023 - Jantien Powell - Landscape in Acrylics. from 10am to 3.30pm.

Makers Market

Artist and Makers Stalls in the Lambing Shed at Humble by Nature
Friday 18th, Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th August 10am - 4pm

Celebrating the creative talents of local makers and producers, the Made in Monmouthshire cooperative along with other artists, exhibit and sell their work.

Takes place over the summer holidays including the Art in Penallt weekend

An exhibition of the senior schools’ artwork can be viewed at The Pig and Apple at Humble by Nature during opening hours. Please use the Pig & Apple website to plan your visit outside of the Art in Penallt weekend.

Open over the whole weekend for visitors to Art in Penallt, the Pig & Apple will be serving coffee, tea, cold drinks and cakes along with a lunchtime selection of hot and cold food.
