Makers Market

ART IN PENALLT RETURNS NEXT YEAR, 2025.

We have decided to devote this year to planning for Art in Penallt 2025, and look forward to seeing you then.

Applications for 2025 will open early next year.

A forum for talented local artists and Makers to exhibit, promote and sell their work

The Makers Market in The Lambing Shed - a large, dry, rustic space with easy access. The Market runs alongside the main gallery exhibition and events.

The selection committee meets following the submission deadline and then gets in touch with all applicants with the outcome of the selection process and with further information for selected stallholders.

In 2022 we celebrated our 11th event and our third year at Humble by Nature in Penallt, attracting over 1,200 visitors during the weekend. We are pleased that we will be holding this year’s event in the same spacious site with excellent facilities.

Art in Penallt, supporting local charities, is a non-profit organisation, dedicated to promoting contemporary art in the local community.  Founded in 2011, the organisation has grown to become a leading showcase for emerging and established artists in the region, attracting over 1200 visitors last year.  From the proceeds of 2022's event we were able to make donations totalling £6,600 to Monmouth & District Foodbank, The Bridges Centre Monmouth and St. John Ambulance Cymru.
